Hey people!
Over the years, I've tried different makeup products and these are a few they have stuck with me and I will continue to repurchase because well, they work well with me. Some products I will mention are a tad new but i'm pretty sure that they'll be essentials in my daily makeup routine for a while(probably forever). Oh and there's a reason why I haven't included mascara/eyeliner/eyebrow products, it's because I simply change up so much with them products so I don't have a favourite unfortunately. If you could recommend me some that'd be great though!
1. Benefits "Hello Flawless!" Oxygen Wow foundation
I've been a nonstop user of this product for the past year and half now. The foundation is for more dry skin types, so perfect for me. I would say it's definitely better suited for dryer skin types as once it has made my skin a bit oily. So make sure you don't forget powder after applying this product! Other than that, it matches my skins perfectly. My shade is Ivory 'believe in me'.
2. Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection concealer
I love this product because it's so cheap and works wonders. If you haven't tried this out yet, what're you doing?! There's nothing bad I could say about this, it covers imperfections, my dark circles and doesn't crease, so it's great!
3. Sleek Contour Kit in light
Again a great product, that's why it's in my essentials! It really does heighten my cheek bones, it's also buildable so it suits different occasions for me. I just wish the highlighter was a bit better, I never really use it as it doesn't really do much for me.
4. Urban Decay's Naked Basics Palette
I recently got this palette for Christmas from a friend, and so far it's been amazing. My favourite shade is W.O.S as it's just a great base shadow. I would highly recommend this palette to anyone who likes matte neutral shadows. It's definitely an everyday palette.
5. Urban Decay's lipliner in Naked || Maybelline's Baby lips in Cherry Me
I've been recently using these two products together and they work great in combination. The baby lips is more of a lip stain so it doesn't come out as red as it looks. It's moisterising, which is great because Urban Decay's lipliner isn't so much. The two colours actually go perfectly, for a more neutral lip shade.
7. Real Techniques Expert Face brush || Eco Tools Angled eyeliner brush
These two brushes have been in my makeup routine for ages now. The Expert Face brush is very useful for applying foundation, powder, blusher and contouring. I mainly use it for contouring and sometimes foundation and i'd recommend it to anyone. The Eco Tools angled eyeliner brush does what it's meant to, and I also use it for filling in my eyebrows. I want to try out different ones though, recommend me some in the comments please!
Thanks for reading, let me know if you have any of these products as one of your 'makeup essentials'.
