Hey guys, so i don't really know what this post is going to be about. But its going to be something positive, i realised last night I'm in this constant cycle of negativity and all i wanted to do is rant or talk about things that are going on in my life that have been bugging me but I'm sure no one really cares about that as you don't really know me!
So I'm just going to tell you guys about something i came across about 6 months ago now and its what i wrote my dissertation on(i promise i won't copy and paste my dissertation here) and its called wabi-sabi you may of heard of it before but its basically finding beauty in the imperfect, incomplete and impermanent. Although it seems like such a beautifully thought out aesthetic that can be used in life and art it seems to be really really hard to actually practice it.
Although it's a difficult one to push into ones mind, i really want to try and make it something i practice on the daily and i think everyone should.
Of course we can all accept the imperfect but do we actually see beauty in it?
Anyway I'm not going to talk much more about this unless you really want to read my dissertation which I'm sure you don't haha.
Have a good day xo
That's such a lovely concept! It encourages us to notice the beauty and the positive in the here and now and that everything is already complete and on the right track, just our mindset isn't! Your photographs are so beautiful and I'm in love with the coat and bag :D xx
